ADfel de premiu 'aiurea'

Well, it seems we are one of the 5 winners of the Apple contest (out of 50). Yeyyyy! What can we say, we are happy we passed the test, as it was a real challenge for us managing this brand new 'area'.

All in one, we had a great time yesterday evening at the event, spending time with friends and colleagues, meeting nice people and making new friends. All the participants were awesome, very creative and friendly - some photos to be posted reallll soon

together with Zazazoo.ro! Today at least :) We know that -among many other things- you are also good at politics , but it's time to show them too.

'Aiurea' in the mountains, 'aiurea' to the seaside...

Yep, aiuritele have big plans for this summer... If till now, you were seeing us in the B-ig city, now it's time for the provence :) We'll start the tour with a trip to Rasnov. Nope, we won't climb the mountains nor taking long walkings in the chill forests, but we are going to the fair, to the HandmadeArt Fest. 19 - 20 July, 2 days event in Rasnov fortress, an event to which we are really honored we were invited. The fair is also organized for charity purposes, thus 10% out of the selling will be reallocated to the paining class of the Palatul Copiilor Rasnov. The participants will be from all over the country and we are convinced we'll see there many interesting works gathered in one place. Curious to see, try, buy?... :D

From what we've heard, you'll find in there a little bit of everything: painting, sculpture, painted furniture, photographs, ceramics, engraving. All handmade! There will be plenty of other works to be discovered at the premises, so we will be there by all means.

B'est Fest - r u gonna Shoe our way?

Yes, the rumours are true: My Grandma's Backyard travels a lot these days: Street Delivery, Drum & Bass Summer Festival. Next stop: B'EST FEST 2008. We'll be there showing off to your analitical eye :) the brand new 'aiuristic' ideas. As you see on the 'aiurea' version of the poster's event, we've already came up with a line of ideas, as the "Jazz it line" or the "Pic Nick" one - to be posted shortly! And this is only the beginning, our beautiful friends :))

That's why we want to share with you our schedule for the next 2 weeks:

• Mo - Fri, from 9:00a.m. - till the one of the 3 of us drops uncounciously :): will be making Fab shoes
• Sat - Sun, from 10:00a.m. (yes, we sleep longer) to 10:00 p.m. (if no events should come up): will be making more Fab shoes, including clubbin' shoes :D
• Sat - Sun, from 10 p.m. - to sunrise: we'll be thinking and dreaming and breathing shoes.... :DDD

Junk Made at the ZOO

We are happy to announce our participation to this ECO event which will take place on Saturday, from 10 a.m. at the ZOO (Baneasa area: 4 Vadul Moldovei Str). The artists will expose their work (here might be an example :) in a dry-reservoir and there will be lots of live artistic performances made out of garbage. So, bring your junks with you :D and your children also (beside yourself :)) See you there!

Sambata, 17 mai, de la ora 10 dimineata, fetele de la atelierul 'Aiurea' va invita la

un event organizat de catre EcoAssist in gradina zoologica (Str. Vadul Moldovei, nr. 4). Acolo se vor expune obiecte realizate din gunoaie aka ziare, plastic, sticla, PET-uri, cutii aluminiu. Pentru realizarea 'operelor de arta' s-a mers pe ideea de prototip mai multe decat pe cea de functionalitate, in asa fel incat sa fie dezvoltata cat mai mult cu putinta partea creativa. Astfel ca vor fi expuse obiecte neobisnuite, atractive, decorative, din materiale reciclabile cum ar fi:

- pantofi fara flecuri reale, fara talpa si toc, ci din tifon, dopuri de pluta, ziar, mucuri de tigara si altele - 2 modele aici
- radiouri din cutii de lapte si alte ramasite de la tastaturi (si alte dispozitive) stricate
- opera de arta din ziare

- mozaic din faianta, gresie si sticla si un rinocer din cutii de aluminiu
- postere din ambalaje folosite
- picturi pe PET-uri si cutii de aluminiu
si altele

Daca v-am trezit un pic curiozitatea, va asteptam cu mare drag sambata asta sa vizitati bazinul plin de 'gunoaie'
