Celebrating the 1st of December in our own way!

In the heart of the old city center at the wonderful compound of Gabroveni 24, the national holiday got fancier and stylish by the day! Starting with the 1st of December and following with the weekend the party was an on-going feast where the three stores welcomed the clients with incredible contemporary insipired canvases by Atelier de Creatie bohemian interior design accesories or bougeois floral arrangements by Floraria Lipscani and breathtaking twisted outfits by Atelier A!UREA.



And in order to make this feast even more fancy and fashionable we decided to dedicate it to a Romanian fashion icon, none other than Loredana Groza, a sparkling apparition, a colorful personality and of course a genuine Romanian artist who always brings a smile upon our faces.



The party started at 14.00 o’clock in the afternoon and our guests were welcomed with hot flavoured wine or sweet chocolate milk for the young , they could easily enjoy a stroll thorugh the three stores while watching some of Loredana’s most inspiring videos being projected on the wall of our enchantd interior garden , they could sweeten their lips with home-made pies and baked cinnamon apples. We took our time and started long chats about Lori’s most famous , crazy and insipiring outfits, we even proposed our very own Lori inspired outfits. Moreover, all our guests were welcomed with a 20% discount on all of our products, accesories or designer/ vintage clothes.











We didn’t forget that December is mainly the month of the presents an we prepared our own. So, our clients got the chance to leave the store with a vintage, unique outfit or with twisted contemporary accesories but also with Loredana’s „Sexting” a well-received and long-craved for book. For the ones who wished to change their look from head to toes we offered free make-up and hairstyling sessions in a partnership with Shakti Center.









The surprises didn’t stop here ,however,as we’re still waiting for you with the 20% discount on each item in our boutique, with lots of presents and with our on-going project of „pimpimg clothers for free”. So get in your car/ the subway or the bus and come meet us in the old city center , with an item of your wardrobe that you think you can no longer wear and we’ll pimp it for free, giving it that „twist” it needs.

All the reasons to get yourself a colorful silky dress

To our “ a!urea” thinking, there is no greater pleasure on these winterish days than to wear a designer silk skirt, a piece of clothing that should definitely find its place in every girl’s closet. Be it a long, short, pleated, from lace or leather we all wore it and we all love it. Just in case you’re wondering how you can wear this wonderful piece of clothing we come to your aid with some suggestions on how to wear a skirt.



We chose for our demonstration a designer skirt, made entirely of silk whose rainbow pattern makes it a must have for the season. The lovely girl who designed it is none other than Kikilou, a rebel with whom you’ll definitely cross paths in the months to come as she’ll be designing small collections exclusively for our boutique.

To get down to business ..: we came up with three different outfits whose main component is the silk dress. So, outfit nr 1: “Like a lady” is the perfect combination for a diligent working girl, who, in the midst of paper files, contracts and meetings finds the time to put together a happy combination of clothes and colors. She doesn’t forget the purple cap or the vintage XXL bag, accessories which top up a perfect outfit for an almost winter day.











For outfit no 2 we chose to wear the skirt as a cape to which we added a yellow tutu and a bunch of doll inspired accessories. The result? A perfect image for a nice evening in town, with girls or boys and lots of cocktails. Wear this inspiring combination and we assure you, all the eyes will be on you!

Outfit no 3 is a combination for the party girls or for those who have to attend a fancy event. This time, the skirt is transformed into a one-shoulder dress which is best worn with a tinsel belt. As a fancy event requires a fancy dress code we added to our designer dress/skirt a designer jacket and a beautiful white fur collar. The creativity is infinite when it comes to jewelry but we stopped at a striped scarf and a red dots bow.













So here are our three recommendations for the silk skirt. Of course, the mix is limitless, all you need is imagination and the place where you’ll find all the clothes and accessories you desire, which is certainly… Atelier A!UREA. We’re looking forward to seeing you these days at our marvelous new location on Gabroveni 24, where we can exchange fashion advice daily between 12:00 and 20:00 and drink hot cups of tea!:)

After we had a few good nights sleep, we are back in action with this funky video, full of energy! All this in the memory of the superb evening of 20 October spent between beautiful people for the launching the new place in town: Gabroveni 24 :)

Gabroveni 24 -Fashion. Art.Flower- was launched

On the 20th of October, Gabroveni 24 opened its doors in the heart of the Old City Center folowing the concept „Three stores, three stories” by token of you’re invited to explore each store of the new ground as if you were flipping the pages of one magnificent book. The journey will reveal to you the remarkable a!urea space where you can admire incredible vintage pieces of clothing seasoned with twisted contemporary accessories and with advice on how to compose the perfect outfit so that you’ll feel special every single day.

Next you’ll stumble upon a gallery of modern art, which will definitely provide you with the perfect “artsy” gift, whether it is a painting on canvas or just a piece of photography.

and lastly or along the way you’ll get the chance to admire fine, bourgeois decorations along with a bohemian tea-room that go under the name of Floraria Lipscani.

The launch party was given flavor by the theme: “ the 1920’s versus 2040’s –back and into the future” and the atmosphere was one that you’ll only find in antique fairytales. The interior garden was animated by pictures of old horsecars and fashionable people from the past and pictures from not such an aloof future that were projected on the walls. The music lay in the hands of Mischa Simeonov the founder of the ingenious project called Classic Beat Orchestra and his friend Sabin Penea who played the violin and who is also a bassist in the popular band, Timpuri Noi. After the boys’ amazing live concert DJ Shurubel took over the music and provided the guests with adorable funky beats that went hand in hand with the cosy but fashionable atmosphere.

We watched extravagant and beautiful people, such as producer and screenwriter Lia Bugnar , Gianina Corondan, actors Marius Manole , Dana Rogoz , Ilincha Manolache , Dana Dembinski, designer Florin Dobre along with fashion bloggers. We wore A!urea outfits, ate the yummiest cookies you could ever imagine, we drank a special kind of punch made after a secret recipe, we gave away presents from the heart.

Starting with the 21st of October , Gabroveni 24 opens its soul to the world and to those interested in discovering its wonderful story.

Atelier A!urea would like to give a social thanks to a young “genius” , namely architect: Corina Cristescu, who put her heart and imagination in designing the new space from Garboveni 24.
